Downtown Oakville Strategic Review

The town is undertaking a strategic review of downtown Oakville, holding a public Open House May 19, 2010 and requesting public input.  The purpose is to produce a strategic plan with a prioritized set of actions to maintain and improve those qualities that make the downtown a great place.  It will address critical factors including cultural heritage, urban design and streetscape, public facilities, economics,  transportation and sustainability.  If you wish more information or want to contribute to this review go to www.oakville.ca/lo-dntwnoakville.htm.  Or contact Kirk Biggar, senior planner at 905 845-6601x3968, kgigger@oakville.ca.
